Usher rehires his mother as manager

Well now it's official! Usher has brought his mother out of retirement to save his career, which took a dip with his latest album, Here I Stand.

Here's what People Magazine said:
“He wanted her to come back on board and she decided to. He had really poor management and wanted her back.”
Here's what Benny Medina had to say about being fired:
“With an artist like Usher, the bar is set really high. Whether it was management, marketing or the music, we achieved a number one single and a number one album. It is a completely new day and time in music now. In four years, his audience, demographic, and musical direction has changed. Records like Lil Wayne’s ‘Lollipop’ are the type of phenomena that ‘Yeah’ was in 2004. I had a great time and we parted ways amicably.”
I think that this was a good move! But at the same time, I feel what Benny Medina is saying. In my opinion, things have changed since Usher's mega-hit album, Confessions, which means that his return definitely should have been more thought out by his management than it was. There's no one who knows Usher better than his mother. She's the only person who can lead him back to the promised land.
