4-1-1 ENTERTAINMENT FOR THE WEEK OF APRIL 27TH, 2009

The debate rages on about who should be the first black “James Bond.” Well Idris Elba says it should be him. Elba is currently starring in the movie Obsessed with Beyonce. Elba is best known for his role as “Stringer Bell” in the HBO series The Wire. I think he should play 007. He’s sexy. He’s fine, and he can act. Sean “P Diddy” Combs wants to play the part, but I have two words for Puff: SIT DOWN!!! Elba should get it. A lot of people don’t know his true background because he plays an American so well, but Idris Elba is British. He’s currently in talks with producers to let him try out for the part.

Let’s ask a question about Elba’s movie co-star. Is Beyonce the new Box Office Queen? This past week, she was when her movie, Obsessed, took in over $28 million. So, what’s next for the megastar? She may have a role in the new Avengers movie. The movie is due out 2012. If she gets in, she would play She-Hulk and be all green. In the meantime, Beyonce is coming to Philly on June 26th. She’s in concert at the Wachovia Center.

Al B. Sure is getting ready to release his new project, Honey I’m Home. Sure is best known for the 80’s hits Nite and Day and Off On Your Own. He is currently working as a radio host at a station in Los Angeles. Recently, he’s been making gossip blogs because of his strained relationship with his son, Quincy. Quincy’s mother is Kim Porter. Whatever is going on, Al needs to rectify the situation and make amends with his son. This should be done privately, and not through internet blogs. Sean “P Diddy” Combs has raised Quincy, now it’s time for Sure to do what he has to do. The situation is giving his public profile a beating.

Whether she is pregnant or not, Jennifer Hudson is getting married this summer. Hudson is engaged to be married to David Otunga. He is training to become a professional wrestler.
